About the route
This easy and pleasant trekking route is perfect for relaxed family cycling, light exercise or simply enjoying the colours and scents of the sea, with plenty of opportunities to rest and swim.
You set off from the centre of Supetar, right next to the ferry port, and follow paved streets slowly out of town. After a few easy kilometres the route enters a quieter stretch of coast on gravel and leads towards Mirca, with its olive groves and pine trees. For one short section (about 100 metres) you have to ride on the main road, so take a little care, but the ride remains calm and pleasant.
You soon return to the picturesque coastal path, which opens up a series of beautiful sea views and offers countless chances to stop, swim or take a short break for ice cream or coffee. Arriving in charming Sutivan, with its stone waterfront and narrow lanes, you will want to get off the bike, at least for a while, and soak up the authentic atmosphere of a small Brač village, before returning to Supetar the same way.
Along the route
The whole ride from Supetar to Sutivan feels like a moving postcard: views of the sea, pine trees, stone houses and quiet coves.

Tips and safety
Take care on the short section of main road near Mirca – ride close to the edge of the road and be careful when crossing. Be especially careful if there are children in your group. On the way to Sutivan the route follows the coast past several small hidden beaches and quiet shady spots, so bring a swimsuit, a towel and something for a light picnic under the pines.
