Parish Church of the Annunciation
A church on the site of the early Christian basilica of St Peter, which gave Supetar its name.
In the stone centre of Supetar stands the Parish Church of the Annunciation, built on the site of the early Christian basilica of St Peter, which gave the town its name. Today the church is part of a complex that also includes the bell tower, the Leroj clock tower, a church museum and the primary school building. Of exceptional architectural, heritage, artistic and urban value, it is one of Supetar's most prominent attractions.
