About the route

This route is ideal for riders who enjoy long, but not overly steep, climbs.

The route sets off from Sinj, from the spot that turns into the Alka racecourse every summer, and heads towards Muć, after which a gentle, not too demanding climb of about ten kilometres leads up onto Mount Svilaja. After the pass at 930 metres above sea level the descent begins towards Hrvace and the Cetina.

The route crosses the Cetina at Ruda and follows its course to Obrovac Sinjski, then returns across Sinjsko polje to the start in Sinj.

Tips and safety

Take care on the descent from Svilaja, as some of the hairpins are blind and surprises are possible.
