The southern part… This route leads you to explore the southern part of these destinations from Gradac to Ploče and the Baćina Lakes to the Polja Jezero field by Vrgorac.
Here the route begins to climb via the village Vina to Vrgorac, and soon reaches another demanding climb in the Vrgorac village Kozica before descending back towards the coast and returning to Gradac.

Tips and safety
The route passes by the entrance to Biokovo Nature Park, so the ambitious cyclist can treat themselves to a climb up to the Sveti Jura peak. It’s not all about the ride; take a break by the sea in one of the picturesque towns on the Makarska Riviera. Vrgorac is a mandatory place to stock up on fluids because from here to the coast there are no shops or hospitality venues.
