Škrip

Škrip is the oldest settlement on Brač, with a history that by some estimates goes back as far as five thousand years. Numerous archaeological finds and architectural, defensive and sacred remains make Škrip a magnet for anyone who wants to learn about the island's past, so it is no surprise that the Museum of the Island of Brač is located here. Škrip is also home to the Olive Oil Museum, dedicated to olive growing and traditional heritage – and if you need one more reason to come, it also has one of the most beautiful viewpoints on Brač.
