Osejava Peninsula
Makarska and Tučepi are connected by the green oasis of the Osejava Peninsula, the largest park in Makarska, with its entrance located just behind the hotel of the same name in the eastern part of the city.
Osejava is both a forest and a park, a picnic area, and a place for adrenaline rushes, but also a favorite bathing spot for those who prefer small, intimate coves or are inclined towards complete freedom on the famous naturist beach Nugal.
The dense pine forest of Osejava is crisscrossed with numerous paths, while the sea beneath the steep cliffs of the peninsula is crystal clear. In the shade of the forest, you'll encounter hikers, walkers, runners, cyclists, daring cliff jumpers, and rock climbers, with a special attraction being the waterfall that forms on Nugal beach after rainy days.
