Lake Peruća

In the 1970s the upper course of the Cetina was turned into a large and important reservoir that supplies electricity to much of Dalmatia.

Lake Peruća flooded valuable landscapes in this part of the Cetina region, but it also created new ones: today its shores have a picnic area and a range of water-sports and recreation facilities. The lake is good for swimming, rowing and fishing, and the construction of the Garjak rowing camp shows how well suited it is to water sports.
