Erdödy Castle and park

Erdödy Castle, built in 1776, is the legacy of the famous and once very influential family of the same name. Later, in the 19th century, a beautiful park with many native and exotic plant species, now protected, was laid out around it. The Erdödy family left the castle in 1923, after which it was converted into a hospital, which still operates there today.
