Čevo

Čevo is the easternmost peak of Ivanščica and a hugely popular hiking destination. It is not particularly high, nor is there a large mountain hut on it; it owes its popularity to its closeness to Novi Marof and Varaždin, and to the fact that the path up its northern side is extremely steep and challenging, while the one on the southern side is gentle and picturesque. Its pointed shape earned it the nickname Zagorje Klek, and it has two viewpoints: Balkon on the western side, overlooking the Bednja valley, and Malo Čevo, with a beautiful view of Varaždin and its surroundings.
