“The Neretva Valley as it once was” would be a fairly accurate description of the Zažablje municipality. In the eastern, inland part of the region, Zažablje still has beautiful, untouched wetland landscapes like those that once filled the entire valley.
Its crown jewel is the beautiful Kuti Lake, tucked into the corner of the lowland part of this area and designated an ornithological reserve, which makes it an ideal destination for a photo safari on traditional Neretva boats.
