Beaver dams at Paka
Beaver dams and lodges along the Paka stream, visited on guided tours during the Paka Porcini Days.
The Paka stream is known for its old-new residents – beavers, which have left their mark by building dams and lodges along the stream. Rare and endearing, they have become a real attraction, with organised visits during the Paka Porcini Days (Dani vrganja), when you can learn more about this noble animal and its role in the ecosystem.
